BIO

Fırtına Kıral is a composer, producer and arranger creating music for film, television, video games and advertisements. His work combines acoustic, electronic, and hybrid musical languages to build distinctive sonic worlds that deepen storytelling and strengthen the emotional connection between audiences and narrative.

His work ranges from concert works, original scores for visual media and commercial campaigns to installations and collaborations with multidisciplinary artists.. Recent projects include sound design for the Louis Vuitton Foundation, original music for an international advertising campaign, sound design for a visual Artis and an immersive work created for a photography exhibition.

 

His music has also been presented in concert settings around the world including the 58th Spring Festival in The Hague, Budapest Jazz Festival and Istanbul Jazz Festival.

 

Alongside his work as a composer, Fırtına is an active drummer, performing regularly in both live and studio settings. This dual perspective as performer and composer informs a flexible, collaborative approach to music-making across a wide range of creative disciplines.

In 2025, Fırtına completed his Master's degree at the Royal Conservatoire in The Hague, specialising in composition, orchestration and multimedia production. He graduated with the Excellence Scholarship and was awarded the Corendon Funds in recognition of his artistic achievements. He is also an endorsed artist for Istanbul Agop Cymbals and Vater Drumsticks.
